Atlanta Electricals IPO Subscribed 70.63 Times

Atlanta Electricals Limited, manufacturer of power, auto, and inverter duty transformers, had issued its Rs. 687 crore Initial Public Offering (IPO) on 22nd September 2025, which was open for subscription until 24th September 2025. The IPO was subscribed 70.63 times overall.

Out of all categories of investors, subscription by Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) was the highest at 194.92 times. Non-Institutional Investors’ (NIIs) subscribed 54.20 times to the IPO, whereas retail investors subscribed 10.42 times to the issue.

Atlanta Electricals’ IPO comprised 0.53 crore fresh shares valued at Rs. 400 crore and offer for sale of 0.38 crore existing shares worth Rs. 287.34 crore. These shares were offered in the Rs. 718 to Rs. 754 price band, and each of the offered shares had Rs. 2 as its face value. As for the utilisation of proceeds from this IPO, Atlanta Electricals will use Rs. 79.12 crore in FY26 for debt payment and about Rs. 210 crore over FY26 and FY27 towards fulfilling its working capital requirements. Apart from this, the company will also utilise not more than 25% of the total proceeds towards general corporate purposes.

Atlanta Electricals, founded in 1988, is involved in designing and manufacturing of power, auto, and inverter-duty transformers. The company is headquartered in Gujarat and has four manufacturing facilities in India. The company has three manufacturing plants in Gujarat and one in Karnataka. For FY25, the company reported a revenue of Rs. 1,250.49 crore and Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 118.65 crore. About 65% of the company’s FY25 revenue came in from supplying transformers to utilities.
