KEC’s FY25 Order Intake at Rs. 25,000 Cr., Majority Orders in T&D
KEC International has reported an order inflow of Rs. 24,689 crore for FY25 and an order book of Rs. 33,398 crore as on 31st March 2025. This information was shared by the company in its stock filing dated 26th May 2025.
Out of the orders secured by the company in FY25, 72% were Transmission and Distribution (T&D) orders and 10% were civil EPC orders. The company’s transportation business vertical constituted 9% of KEC’s FY25 order intake, whereas orders secured in cables and renewables businesses of KEC made up 5% and 4% of the total order intake during FY25 respectively. Further, 56% of the orders secured by the company in FY25 were domestic orders, and the remaining 44% were international orders.
Moreover, in FY26, the company has secured orders worth over Rs. 2,000 crore till date. These include orders worth Rs. 1,033 crore recently secured by the company.
Apart from this, orders secured by the company in FY26 include new Transmission & Distribution orders collectively worth Rs. 1,133 crore in India. These orders include laying 800 KV High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission line for Powergrid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL). Apart from this, KEC has also won an order from PGCIL for setting up a 765 KV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS). Moreover among these orders, KEC International has received an order from a ‘private developer’ for laying a 400 KV quad transmission line in India.
KEC International recently posted its FY25 financials and reported a revenue of Rs. 21,846.70 crore for 2024-25 fiscal.
