Waaree Energies Wins Order to Supply 600 MW of Solar Modules

Waaree Energies Limited, a solar module manufacturing company, has secured an order for supplying 600 MW of solar power modules. This information was shared by Waaree Energies in its press release dated 26th November 2024. However, Waaree Energies has not disclosed name of the company that has placed this order.

As per this order, Waaree Energies will be responsible for supplying its solar power modules and will commence the supply of modules in FY-26.

Commenting on this order win, Dr. Amit Paithankar, CEO, Waaree Energies Ltd. said “As we prepare for delivery in FY 2025-26, our focus remains on delivering world-class solar solutions that enable cleaner energy transitions, reduce carbon footprints, and fuel economic growth. Our ability to secure repeat orders highlights the trust we have established with our clients”.

During the company’s earnings call for its Q2 FY-25 financials, Dr. Paithankar said that by the end of 2025, the company will have 13.3 GW of solar module manufacturing capacity in India and 1.6 GW in the United States. Mentioning about Waaree Energies’ future plans, he added “…by the end of financial year ‘27, in India, we will be having 21 gigawatts of module capacity and 11 gigawatts of cell capacity”.
