Vishwaraj Sugar Industries, an integrated sugar company producing sugar, power and ethanol, based in Belgaum, Karnataka, has planned ₹ 400 crore expansion.

The company plans to set up a greenfield sugar plant along with a distillery having 100 Kilo litre per day (KLPD) capacity exclusively for Ethanol production. The expected investment is ₹ 250 crore.

Vishwaraj Sugar also plans to expand its existing distillery capacity by 150 KLPD at an estimated cost of ₹ 150 crore.

These projects will be funded through both equity and debt.
