Vindhya Telelinks’ Q3 Revenue Grows More than Double YoY to 638.27 Cr.

Vindhya Telelinks Ltd. [NSE: VINDHYATEL, BOM: 517015], an Indian cable manufacturing company and a part of the MP Birla Group, has posted its financial results for the quarter ended 31st December 2022.

Vindhya Telelinks reported Rs. 638.27 crore as its standalone revenue from operations for Q3 of FY-23.

Correspondingly, the company logged Rs. 32.91 crore as its Profit After Tax (PAT) for the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal.

Vindhya Telelinks’ revenue from operations shot up by a staggering 111.22% to Rs. 638.27 crore in Q3 of FY-23 from Rs. 302.18 crore earned during Q3 of FY-22. In other words, the company’s revenue from operations grew to over double on a Year-over-Year (YoY) basis.

Profit After Tax (PAT) of the company saw a drop of 17.72% YoY, to Rs. 28.28 crore in Q3 of FY-23 against Rs. 34.37 crore logged during Q3 of the previous fiscal.

On a Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) basis, Vindhya Telelinks’ revenue from operations grew by 11.40%, thus showing a healthy growth from the Rs. 572.93 crore revenue clocked during Q2 of the ongoing fiscal.

PAT echoed this upward trend QoQ, growing impressively by 61.23% from Rs. 17.54 crore earned during Q2 of FY-23.

Cables: Vindhya Telelinks has reported Rs. 176.64 crore as its revenue from cable segment for Q3 of FY-23. This represents a massive YoY jump of 80.91% from the Rs. 97.64 crore cables revenue logged by the company during Q3 of the previous financial year.

On a QoQ basis though, the company’s revenue from this segment fell by 21.98% from Rs. 226.41 crore clocked during the quarter ended 30th September 2022.

EPC: EPC segment comprises the major share of Vindhya Telelinks’ revenue. For the quarter ended 31st December 2022, the company’s EPC revenue was Rs. 474.01 crore, or 74.26% of the company’s total consolidated revenue.

On a YoY basis, Vindhya Telelinks’ EPC segment’s quarterly revenue grew to more than double from Rs. 212.40 crore which was earned during Q3 of FY-22.

QoQ increase in the company’s EPC revenue showed a healthy trend, growing by 18.48% from Rs. 400.07 crore clocked in Q2 of FY-23.
