Vindhya Telelinks’ Q1 FY23 Net Profit Drops 42.42% YoY
Vindhya Telelinks Ltd. [NSE: VINDHYATEL, BOM: 517015], has announced its financial results for the first quarter of the 2022-23 financial year.
The company’s consolidated revenue from operations in Q1 of FY-23 stood at Rs. 313.98 crore, which is 8.27% lower than the Rs. 342.27 crore revenue reported for Q1 of the previous fiscal.
Vindhya Telelinks’ Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter ended 30th June 2022 stood at Rs. 38.19 crore. This reflects a 42.42% decrease on a Year-over-Year (YoY) basis from the Rs. 66.33 crore profit registered during Q1 of the previous fiscal.
Comparing the company’s Q1 FY-23 revenue to that for Q4 of FY-22, we observe a drop of 12.25% from Rs. 357.83 crore. PAT of the company also dwindled by 31.89% from Rs. 56.07 crore, which was Vindhya Telelinks’ PAT for the last quarter of FY-22.
Contribution of the company’s cables business segment to its revenue during Q1 of FY-23 was Rs. 151.90 crore, while that of its EPC business was Rs. 206.87 crore.
