Indian Railways to Roll out 475 Vande Bharat Trains in the Next 4 Years
Indian Railways will be deploying 475 new Vande Bharat trains in the coming 4 years. This information was given by the Union Railways Minister, Mr. Ashwini Vaishnaw, after he flagged off India’s third Vande Bharat train at Integral Coach Facility (ICF), Chennai on 12th August 2022.
Earlier, he had stated that 75 Vande Bharat trains would be manufactured by 15th August 2023.
Besides the new Vande Bharat train flagged by the Union Railways Minister, two Vande Bharat trains are already in operation. One of these trains is plying between Delhi and Varanasi, and the other between Delhi and Katra.
