Consolidated PAT of the company slumped majorly by 55.04% on a YoY basis to Rs. 11.65 crore for second quarter of FY-24 from Rs. 25.91 crore reported for Q2 of FY-23.

EPS of Universal Cables during Q2 of FY-24 stood at Rs. 3.36 against Rs. 7.46 in Q2 of FY-23.

QoQ Comparison of Unistar’s Financials: Q2 FY-24 vs. Q1 FY-24

On a Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) basis, the company recorded a increase of 3.12% in its revenue from operations which stood at Rs. 479.41 crore during Q1 of FY-24.

Universal Cables’ PAT tumbled by 51.56% QoQ from Rs. 24.05 crore earned during of FY-24.

Unistar’s Share Prices 5% Down After Announcing Q2 FY-24 Financials

Universal Cables’ share price decreased by 5.29% after the company announced its financial results for Q2 of FY-24.

Further, volume of trades of company’s shares peaked at 4,22,000 trades after the company announced its Q2 FY-24 financials, against 36,000 trades on the day company announced its financials. Therefore, the volume of trades increased to 11.72 times on the day after Unistar released its Q2 FY-24 financials.
