UP Metro Floats 1,529 Cr. Civil Construction Tender for Agra Metro

Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has floated a tender for civil construction work for Agra Metro Phase 1’s line-2. The estimated cost for work in this tender is Rs. 1,529.29 crore. This package (AGCC-07) will connect Agra Cantonment to Kalindi Vihar through 14 elevated stations on line 2.

Package AGCC-07 involves design and construction of a 15.09 Km-long elevated viaduct from Agra Cantt. Metro Station to Kalindi Vihar Metro Station. Apart from this, the 530 m long viaduct for entry and exit lines to Agra Metro’s Line 2 depot at Kalindi Vihar also falls under the scope of this package. Additionally, AGCC-07 includes the construction of a 2.61 Km-long viaduct which will connect Sadar Bazar Metro Station to Agra Metro Line 1’s depot at PAC Ground.

This package also entails the construction of 14 elevated stations on Line 2 of Agra Metro, namely, Agra Cantt, Sadar Bazar, Pratap Pura, Collectorate, Agra College, Hariparvat Chauraha, Sanjay Place, M.G. Road, Sultanganj Crossing, Kamla Nagar, Ram Bagh, Foundry Nagar, Agra Mandi, and Kalindi Vihar. The project scope includes architectural finishing, sanitary installations, electrical and mechanical (E&M) works, water supply, and other associated works for the same.

UPMRC tender specifies a 24-month completion period for this project. Last date to submit bids for this package is 18th January 2024.
