Ultracab Secures Orders worth 10.23 Cr. for LT XLPE Cables

Ultracab (India) Ltd., an Indian manufacturer of wires and cables, has secured orders collectively worth Rs. 10.23 crore from various clients. This information was given by the company via a stock filing dated 21st March 2025.

In total, these orders have been secured from 6 entities. Out of these orders, the largest order, valued at Rs. 3.77 crore, has been secured from Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. Maharashtra-based Jain Irrigation Systems is a micro-irrigation company which manufactures precision irrigation equipment. Apart from this, Ultracab has won a Rs. 2.95 crore-order from Pune’s GK Energy Marketers Pvt. Ltd., a solar pump EPC player, and a Rs. 1.72 crore-order from Jindal Stainless Ltd. Ultracab’s orders also include an order valued at Rs. 1.14 crore from Jindal Ferrous Ltd., a Rs. 0.47 crore order from Western Railway, and a Rs. 0.18 crore order from Jindal Coke Ltd.

All of the aforementioned orders are for Low Tension (LT) Cross-linked Poly Ethylene (XLPE) cables in various sizes. Ultracab will fulfill these orders by September 2025.

On the day Ultracab announced the aforementioned order wins, the company’s shares were trading at Rs. 11.49 apiece, which is 4.45% higher than the Ultracab’s share price on the previous trading day.

Recently, Ultracab had won a Rs. 51 crore order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL) for LT XLPE cables.
