Ultracab Secures Control Cables Order from Maharashtra Transco

Ultracab (India) Ltd., an Indian cable manufacturer, has received an order for the supply of control cables to Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd. (MSETCL).

This order has been valued at Rs. 7.17 crore, and involves Ultracab supplying 1.1 KV PVC Fire Resistant Low Smoke (FRLS) control cables to MSETCL. Delivery of these cables is expected to be complete by October 2025 (before Q3 of FY-26).

Ultracab’s stock gained 4.89% after the announcement of this order. The company’s shares were trading at Rs. 17.21 apiece on the next trading day after the announcement of this order, against Rs. 16.40 apiece on the day of announcement. Volume of share trades also grew sixfold, to 15,92,000 trades a day after the announcement of Ultracab’s order win from 2,64,000 trades on the previous trasing day.
