The Ramco Cements Targets 30 MMTPA Production Capacity in 2026

Chennai-based The Ramco Cements Limited will be investing Rs. 1,000 crore to expand its cement production capacity to 30 Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MMTPA) by mid-2026. At present, the company is India’s fifth-largest cement producer with a manufacturing capacity of 24.4 MMTPA.

The Ramco Cements operates 11 cement plants across India, comprising five integrated units and six grinding units. A significant portion of the new investment will be directed towards its plant in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.

Through this expansion, the company expects to take its topline to Rs. 15,000 crore to Rs. 16,000 crore over the next four to five years. The Ramco Cements’ consolidated revenue stood at over Rs. 8,500 crore in FY25, therefore this translates to an addition of Rs. 6,500 crore to Rs. 7,500 crore to the company’s annual revenue.
