Tata Power Solar Systems Secures Rs. 612 Crore EPC Order from SJVN
Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd. (TPSSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), has secured an EPC order from Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) worth Rs. 612.71 crore. This EPC order is for a 100 MW ground-mounted solar project at Raghanesda Solar Park plot C, Gujarat.
Scope of work for Tata Solar includes end-to-end delivery of the solar plant and its commissioning. TPSSL will also be providing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for this project for a three-year period.
As per TPSSL’s press release dated 15th September 2022, the company was awarded the Letter of Award (LoA) after going through the process of tariff-based competitive bidding. This project is set to be commissioned within 11 months.
Once commissioned, power from this project will be supplied by SJVN to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) at Rs. 2.64 per KWh for a period of 25 years.
