TARIL Appoints Mr. Mukul Srivastava as CEO
Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd. (TARIL) has appointed Mr. Mukul Srivastava as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from 8th July 2025.
Mr. Srivastava completed B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra in 1990. Later in 1992, he completed M.Tech in Industrial and Management Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Kanpur.
TARIL’s new CEO has over 30 years of experience in Executive Leadership and Profit & Loss (P&L) management. His career in the electrical industry includes substantial experience in the transformers and switchgear segments. Mr. Srivastava’s area of expertise includes power and distribution transformers, instrument transformers, condenser bushings, vacuum circuit breakers, ring main units, unitized substations, gas insulated switchgears, and numerical relays.
He began his career in 1992 as a Production Manager at CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd., and held this role for over 7 years. Thereafter in 1999, he was promoted to the position of Marketing Manager in the company. In 2001, Mr. Srivastava was elevated to his first CXO position when he became the CEO of CG Lucy Switchgear Ltd., a JV between CG Power and UK’s Lucy Switchgear. He served this position till 2007. Following this, he became General Manager at CG Power and Industrial Solutions and was subsequently promoted to Senior General Manager in 2014. A year later, he was promoted to the office of Vice President (Switchgear) at CG Power and Industrial Solutions, a role he held till 2020. Thereafter from January 2020 to December 2020, Mr. Srivastava served as Business Head of Kirloskar Oil Engines’ Prime Power Solutions. He rejoined CG Power and Industrial Solutions as its President (Switchgear Division) in December 2020, and held this position till June 2025.
