Tamil Nadu Floats 525 Cr. Tender for Construction of 4-Lane Elevated Highway

Tamil Nadu Public Works Department (PWD) has floated a tender for construction of a four-lane elevated highway in a section of Grand Southern Trunk (GST) road in Tamil Nadu. The estimated cost for this project is Rs. 525 crore.

Scope of work specified in this tender includes construction of a 3.2 Km long 4-lane elevated highway, connecting Teynampet to Saidapet in Tamil Nadu. This project is to be executed under EPC mode. A maintenance period of 10 years is also included post-completion of this project.

Last date to submit bids for this tender is 20th September 2023, and the project completion period has been specified as 24 months.
