Suzlon Energy Wins 201.6 MW Wind Energy Project from Teq Green Power
Suzlon Energy Ltd. has secured a project from Teq Green Power XI Private Limited to develop a wind power project of 201.6 MW capacity. Suzlon shared this information in its press release dated 25th August 2023.
Scope of work for Suzlon comprises supplying, installing, and commissioning of 64 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), each of 3.15 MW capacity. Each of these WTGs will be supplied with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT)* tower. Post-commissioning, Suzlon will also provide Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services for this project.
This upcoming project is expected to be commissioned in 2025.
*A Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower is used to mount wind turbine generator to the desired height. It consists of three components, namely a lattice tower, a transition piece, and a tubular tower. The lattice tower is assembled on-site by welding steel profiles just above the foundation of the HLT tower, while the tubular tower forms the top part of the HLT tower. These two sections of the HLT tower are connected by means of a transition piece.
