Sterlite Technologies Net Profit Shoots to 115.75 Cr for Q1 FY22

Sterlite Technologies Ltd. (STL), one of the leading integrators of digital networks and manufacturer of optical fiber cables in India, announced financial results for the first quarter of FY 2021-22.
Consolidated Quarterly Numbers for Sterlite Technologies
The revenue from operations of STL increased by 49 % to Rs 1,309.23 crore during the quarter ended June 2022 from Rs 876.2 crore of the corresponding period of 2021.

Net Profit of STL in Q1 FY22 have increased enormously by 1842.11% to Rs. 115.75 Cr. as compared to Rs. 5.96 Cr. of Q1 FY21.
First quarter of last year was heavily affected by the Covid pandemic, and the sharp jump in PAT (profit after tax) visible in Q1 2021-22 is largely because of the impact of pandemic which had diminished the company’s operations last year, as expressed by STL group chief financial officer Mihir Modi.
Sterlite Technologies’ Order Book
STL’s order book grew by 8.7 percent to Rs 11,200 crore in the Q1 FY22, up from Rs 10,300 crore in the corresponding period of 2020-21.
