SECI Invites Bids to Develop 1,000 MW of ISTS-Connected Solar Projects in India
Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has invited bids for the development of 1,000 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected solar power projects in India. These projects will be developed under tranche-XVIII of the scheme titled “Selection of Solar Power Developers for Setting up of 1000 MW ISTS-connected Solar PV Power Projects in India under Tariff-based Competitive Bidding”.
As per SECI’s tender, bidders will submit bids for a minimum capacity of 50 MW and maximum capacity of 500 MW. These solar power projects will be developed on Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. The solar modules that will be deployed in these projects must be in Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s (MNRE) Revised List of Models and Manufacturers (RLMM).
Successful bidders will also be responsible for land identification and establishing necessary transmission network to supply the power generated from these projects to SECI.
Last date to bids for this tender is 4th October 2024.
