Sam (India) Builtwell Wins Rs. 223 Cr. DMRC Contract for Delhi MRTS

Sam (India) Builtwell Private Limited has secured the EC-01 construction contract for the Yuge Yugeen Bharat underground metro station project. The company submitted a bid of Rs. 222.76 crore for the project. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to Sam (India) Builtwell for the execution of this work.

The tender for the project was floated by DMRC in June 2025.

Scope of work includes design and construction of the Yuge Yugeen Bharat underground metro station. In addition, Sam (India) Builtwell will be responsible for construction of a PD area (property development area or commercial area) ancillary building, associated entry and exit structures, and connecting subways under Phase 5A of the Delhi Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS).

Afcons Infrastructure Ltd. emerged as the second-lowest bidder, quoting Rs. 259.09 crore for the project.

The Yuge Yugeen Bharat station will be part of the 9.9 Km corridor connecting Indraprastha to RK Ashram Marg, being developed under Delhi Metro Phase 5A.

The Delhi government approved Phase 5A in December 2025. The Rs. 12,015 crore project will add 16 Km of new metro lines and 13 stations across three corridors to the Delhi Metro network.
