Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) has secured a power distribution project worth Rs. 196. 77 crore in Madhya Pradesh from MP Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company (MPMKVVCL).
Scope of work includes establishment of new 11 KV lines for bifurcation and interconnection, and a new 11 KV bay at a 33KV/11KV substation in the area under Package VI-B (Bhopal city and Sehore circle). Additionally, the project includes augmentation of 11 KV transmission lines in the area. Distribution transformer substations with associated 11 KV lines will also be built as per this contract.
Low Tension (LT) bare conductors will be replaced and augmented with Aerial Bunched (AB) cable by RVNL.
This project is being executed under Reforms-based and Results-linked Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
