RVNL Invites Bids for Broad Gauge Rail Line in Yavatmal-Nanded Section, Maharashtra

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has invited bids for the construction of a Broad Gauge (BG) line from Yavatmal to Nanded (Packages III-A & III-B) in Maharashtra. The lengths of Package III-A and III-B are 26 Km and 24 Km, respectively. The anticipated expenditures for the development of each package are Rs. 827.53 crore and 778.42 crore, respectively.

Scope of work in both aforementioned packages includes construction of major and minor bridges, station buildings, Road Over Bridges (ROBs), Road Under Bridges (RUBs) and other associated works. The scope of work for Package III-A includes building two tunnels with Ballastless Tracks (BLTs) that are 1,250 metres and 2,700 metres. Package III B includes the construction of three BLTs-equipped tunnels with lengths of 350, 400, and 2,650 metres.

Completion period of 36 months has been specified for both packages. The deadline to submit bids for these tenders is 17th July 2023.
