Ranjit Buildcon is L1 Bidder for Rs. 631 Cr. Civil Contract for Bhubaneswar Metro

Ranjit Buildcon Limited has emerged as Lowest (L1) bidder for civil works at Bhubaneswar metro’s phase 1 project under package BBC-03. The company had bid with Rs. 561.21 crore against Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) estimation of Rs. 630.65 crore. DMRC is the turn-key consultant for phase 1 of Bhubaneswar metro.

Scope of work in package BBC-03, which covers a total length of 7.122 Km, includes design and construction of an elevated viaduct and six elevated stations. These stations will be constructed at Capital Hospital, Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar Railway Station, Ram Mandir Square, Vani Vihar and Acharya Vihar Square from Chainage (Ch.) 625.00 m to Ch. 7747.00 m of Bhubaneswar metro phase-1 project.

Tender for this project was floated by DMRC in March 2024 with a completion timeline of three years.
