Railways Floats Tender for Works on Samni-Jambusar section of Vadodara Div.
Indian Railways has invited bids for gauge conversion works on the Samni-Jambusar section of Vadodara division with an estimated cost of Rs. 249.93 crore.
Scope of work under this project entails civil work on an EPC basis with regard to gauge conversion from Samni to Jambusar in the state of Gujarat along a length of 24.08 Km. These works include earthwork, blanketing, and construction of cutting side drain and toe wall for formation.
Minor and major bridge works, as well as road under and over bridges also fall under the scope of work of this tender. The winning bidder shall also execute works on track linking, cover shed, station building platforms, service building, foot over bridge, circulating area, staff quarters, watering and sanitations. The supply of rails and ballast are excluded from the tender’s scope of work.
The last date to submit bids is 6th March 2023, and the project is to be completed in a period of 26 months.
