Punjab State Power Floats Tender for the Procurement of 500 MW Solar Power

Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has invited bids for procuring 500 MW of solar power from grid-connected solar projects. Power procurement under this tender can be either from ground-mounted solar or floating solar projects.

As per the bid invitation, a bidder can offer a minimum of 2 MW of solar power, and a maximum of 500 MW of solar power to PSPCL. Successful bidders will sign a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for 25 years with PSPCL. Further, the company has specified a maximum tariff of Rs. 2.75/KWh for the power to be procured.

Last date for submission of bids for this tender is 12th September 2023. Projects must be commissioned within 18 months from the date of signing the PPA.
