Polycab India Q2 FY26 Financials: Revenue Grows 18%, PAT Up 55%

Commenting on the company’s Q2 FY26 financial performance, Mr. Inder T. Jaisinghani, Chairman and Managing Director, Polycab India, said “Our performance in Q2 FY26 marks another strong step forward in Polycab’s growth journey. We delivered our highest-ever second quarter and half-yearly revenue and profitability, reflecting the continued strength of our core Wires & Cables business and the improving traction in the FMEG business”. He added that the domestic demand environment remained healthy, supported by government infrastructure and private CapEx.

Polycab India reported a standalone revenue of Rs. 6,339.96 crore and Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 674.80 crore during Q2 of FY26.

Polycab’s consolidated revenue during Q2 FY26 was up by 17.80% to Rs. 6,477.21 crore from its Rs. 5,498.42 crore revenue reported for Q2 FY25. Polycab’s PAT jumped to Rs. 692.96 crore during Q2 FY26 from Rs. 445.21 crore in Q2 FY25. This represents a significant Year-over-Year (YoY) increase of 55.66% in the company’s PAT.

The company’s Earnings Per Share (EPS) stood at Rs. 45.54 during Q2 FY26 against Rs. 29.25 during Q2 FY25.

QoQ Analysis of Polycab’s Financial Performance: Q2 FY26 vs. Q1 FY26

On Quarter-over-Quarter basis (QoQ), the company’s revenue was up by 9.67% from Rs. 5,905.98 crore earned for Q1 FY26. Polycab’s PAT also followed an upward QoQ trend, increasing by 15.55% from Rs. 599.70 crore clocked during Q1 FY26.

Wires and Cables: During Q2 of FY26, the company reported Rs. 5,691.13 crore as revenue from its Wires and Cables segment against Rs. 4,771.97 crore earned during Q2 of FY25. This shows a jump by 19.26% YoY.

This segment typically makes up for the bulk of Polycab’s revenue, and in Q2 of FY26 revenue from wires and cables sales constituted 86.94% of its gross revenue*.

*Gross revenue refers to the sum of segmental revenues before the deduction of inter-segmental revenue.

FMEG: Polycab’s FMEG vertical brought in a segmental revenue of Rs. 452.18 crore during Q2 FY26, which is YoY 13.75% higher than the company’s Q2 FY25 FMEG revenue of Rs. 397.51 crore.

EPC: The company reported a revenue of Rs. 402.39 crore from its EPC segment in Q2 FY26. This reflects a YoY decrease of 18.99% from Rs. 496.72 crore, earned by the company from this vertical during Q2 of FY25.
