Panasonic Holds Ground Breaking Ceremony for New Factory in Andhra
Panasonic Life Solutions India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation, on 26th January 2021 held the groundbreaking ceremony of its new manufacturing facility at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. Total Panasonic has an investment outlay of INR 600 Cr. for constructing this facility.
The facility will include advanced assembly line of the electrical equipment materials and wiring devices offered by the company. The new facility will be built over 33 acres of land at Sri City, Industrial Park, Andhra Pradesh. Panasonic also aims to provide direct employment to at least 600 people in the state by the year 2022.
When completed, this new facility will be Panasonic Life Solutions’ eighth electrical equipment material production base in India.
