Tata Power Solar to Build 300 MW Solar Project Worth 1,755 Cr. in Rajasthan

Tata Power Solar Systems Limited (TPSSL) has secured an EPC order for a 300 MW solar project worth Rs. 1,755 crore in Bikaner, Rajasthan from Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited (NLC India). This project will be developed under Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) scheme. The company has received the Letter of Award (LoA) for this project through competitive bidding. This information was given by Tata Power in their stock filing dated 29th March 2023.

This project will be commissioned in 18 months from the receiving date of LoA and will be operated and maintained by TPSSL for 3 years after the Commercial Operation Declaration (COD).

Development of Tata Power Solar Systems’ upcoming solar project will reduce 6 lakh tons of CO2 emissions and is expected to generate more than 750 million units of electricity per year.
