NHAI Invites Tender for Part of Bangalore-Chennai Expressway Phase-II

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), on 21st December 2020 floated tender for 31 Km long section between Baireddypalle and Bangarupalem of Bangalore-Chennai Expressway Phase-II.

Bangalore-Chennai Expressway is a proposed 262 Km long four lane expressway between Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka and Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu.

Scope of work involves construction of four lane expressway from 96.0 Km to 127.0 Km of Baireddypalle to Bangarupalem Section on hybrid annuity mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package-II). This section falls in state of Andhra Pradesh. The estimated investment for the work is Rs 1,800.38 crore.
