NHAI Floats Tender for Rs. 573 Cr. Highway Project in UP and Haryana

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for four-laning of Aligarh-Palwal section of NH-334D, in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. This project will be executed on Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM)* at an estimated cost of Rs. 573.38 crore.

Scope of work as per the tender comprises four-laning of the 22.72 Km-long stretch of NH-334D from Km. 46.390 (Design Chainage) to the junction of NH-334D with Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) at Km. 69.110. The tender specifies a completion period of 24 months for this highway project.

Last date to submit bids for this tender is 12th February 2024.

*Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) refers to a mode of Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) wherein the government and the private player share the project expenses in a 40:60 ratio respectively. After the private player develops the project, it is handed over to the government. The government pays a fixed annuity to the private player for a certain amount of time as defined in the contract.
