NHAI Floats Rs. 1,193.81 Cr. Tender for Four/Six Laning of NH-966 Section in Kerala

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for four laning / six laning of the Karimba-Edathanattukara section of NH-966 in Kerala. The estimated cost of this project has been pegged at Rs. 1,193.81 crore.

Scope of work as per this tender includes 4/6 laning of the aforementioned section, which is 30.72 Km in length, under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM)*. This project will be developed under the Government’s Bharatmala Pariyojana in Kerala.

Last date to submit bids for this tender is 19th December 2022.

*Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) refers to a mode of Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) wherein the government and the private player share the project expenses in a 40:60 ratio respectively. After the private player develops the project, it is handed over to the government. The government pays a fixed annuity to the private player for a certain amount of time as defined in the contract.
