Mr. Subhankar Sen Appointed Director (Marketing) of BPCL

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has appointed Mr. Subhankar Sen as its new Director (Marketing). The company shared this information in its stock filing dated 14th July 2025.

Mr. Sen is a gradutate from University of Calcutta, and holds an MBA in Marketing, Business Strategy from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Maharashtra.

BPCL’s Director (Marketing), Mr. Sen, has over 4 decades of professional experience. He began his career in 1986 as a Personnel Officer at BPCL, a position he held for over seven years. In 1994, he was promoted to Deputy Manager (Industrial Relations) and served the role for two years. In subsequent years, he held the roles of Deputy Manager (Sales) and Deputy Manager (Allied Retail Business) for two years and one year, respectively.

Over the years, Mr. Sen has held several significant positions within BPCL, including Head (Allied Retail Business), General Manager (Retail Initiatives & Brand), Chief General Manager (Retail Initiatives & Brand), and others. During his Executive Directorship, he headed various departments of the company including Retail, Lubricants, and Marketing.

Prior to his promotion as BPCL’s Director (Marketing), he was serving as the company’s Executive Director (Marketing).
