Mr. Manohar Pol Appointed HFCL’s Head of Manufacturing

Mr. Manohar Pol has been promoted to the position of Head of Manufacturing at HFCL Limited. He brings with him over 26 years of experience in optical fiber design, development, and manufacturing.

Mr. Pol holds an MSc. degree in Organic Chemistry from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, which he earned in 1998. He then went on to pursue Master of Business Administration (MBA) course in Operations Management from SMU University in 2012.

He began his professional journey with Sterlite Technologies as an Officer (Operation) and served in this role for more than 13 years. Later, he was promoted to the position of Associate Manager (Product Development), where he worked from April 2012 to January 2013.

In February 2013, he joined HFCL as Senior Manager (Production). He was promoted to Assistant General Manager in April 2019 and held the position until March 2021. Subsequently, he became the Deputy General Manager in April 2021 and was later elevated to the position of General Manager in June 2023.

Throughout his tenure at HFCL, Mr. Pol has been actively involved in product development, process stabilization, and patent contributions.
