Mangal Industries to Invest Rs. 250 Cr. for RE Components Fabrication Unit
Mangal Industries Ltd. (MIL), a part of the Amara Raja Group, will be investing Rs. 250 crore to develop a greenfield manufacturing unit in Tenepalli, situated in the Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh.
This new facility will be spread over an area of 2.15 lakh sq. ft. Speaking about the products that will be rolled out of MIL’s upcoming facility, Mr. Harshavardhana Gourineni, Director, Mangal Industries said, “This plant will manufacture components for the renewable energy sector like solar power as well as other custom fabrication products. It will also support our entry into new segments and product lines.”
As per the Amara Raja Group, Mangal Industries’ upcoming facility will be creating employment opportunities for about 1,000 people. Work is expected to commence as soon as the company is granted requisite government approvals for this project.
