L&T Wins 1,000-2,500 Cr. Order for FGD Systems from Bengal GenCo

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Power Business has secured an EPC order from West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL) of a total value between Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,500 crore. This order is for the development of Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) systems for WBPDCL’s thermal power plant at Sagardighi in West Bengal. L&T shared this information in its press release dated 4th October 2023.

Scope of work for L&T includes setting up of three wet FGD absorbers for four thermal power units of WBPDCL’s plant. Two of these thermal power units are 300 MW capacity each and two are of 500 MW capacity each.
