SAIL Expansion Projects at IISCO and Bokaro Steel Plants

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is undertaking an expansion of crude steel production capacity at its IISCO Steel Plant in Burnpur, West Bengal. As part of this expansion, the plant’s capacity will be increased from 2.5 Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MMTPA) to 6.5 MMTPA.
