L&T Construction Secures Orders Collectively Worth 1,000-2,500 Cr.
Indian EPC giant, Larsen & Toubro has stated in its press release dated 23rd January 2023 that its construction arm has secured orders cumulatively worth Rs. 1,000 crore to Rs. 2,500 crore across various businesses.
In the Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business, L&T Construction has secured an order to build a solar power plant of 112.5 MW generation capacity in West Bengal. This project is being implemented by the state government and is being financed by a foreign development bank.
In central-western Uttar Pradesh, the company has secured an order for power transmission & distribution loss reduction works and Gas Insulated Substation asset mapping under the Revamped Reforms-linked Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). L&T has also won an order in the Middle East for the implementation of electrical system for an energy company with the associated civil and infrastructural works.
L&T Construction’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) business has secured a brownfield project from Nanavati Max Super Specialty Hospital, which entails the construction of a super-speciality hospital in Vile Parle, Mumbai. This involves the construction of 7.3 lakh sq. ft area in two phases, where phase 1 will be completed in 23 months and phase 2 will be completed in 17 months.
