Linde India Commences Work on its Ludhiana Air Separation Unit

Linde India Ltd., the Indian subsidiary of Germany’s Linde plc, has begun mechanical works on a 250 Tonnes Per Day (TPD) Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Punjab’s Ludhiana. This unit is expected to be commissioned by the end of 2023.

This ASU will target increasing the production of medical liquid oxygen. This new facility will help the company cater to industrial as well as healthcare demand in Northern part of India. Linde India’s Ludhiana ASU is its second such facility in North India, the first being at Selaqui, Uttarakhand.
