Kemtree Collaborates with US Firm for Cable Compound Manufacturing in India

India-based lubricant manufacturing company Kemtree Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. has  announced collaboration with Electric Cable Compounds Inc (ECC), a US-based producer of colorable and pelletized compounds.

New Product Range and Offering by Kemtree after Collaboration

After this agreement with ECC Inc., Kemtree aims to manufacture high-quality cable compounds for Indian wire and cable manufacturers. Additionally, it will also take assistance from ECC to achieve UL certification which is required for polymer compound exports to US and other International markets.

The company’s offering may include EPR Compounds, Elastomeric, Crosslinkable, Thermoplastic Compounds, Flame Retardant and Halogen Free Compounds, Moisture Crosslinkable Compounds, FR Masterbatches, Insulation, Jacketing, and Bedding Compounds.

Kemtree’s Present Market base and Demand of Cable Compounds in India

Kemtree started its business with marketing of lubricants and cleaning chemicals for the Indian cable industry in 1996 under the name Ronak Industry. With branding changed to Kemtree in 2013, it started manufacturing of Industrial lubricants for Cables as well as Steel Industry. It also deals in Pressure Dies, Shaped Dies, Shaving Dies used for wire drawing.

It is expected that with Kemtree’s established relations and distribution system in the Indian Cable industry it could easily market the new cable compounds.

The price and demand of polymer compounds for Cable Industry has seen an increase in recent months which would also provide space for new entrants in cable compounds market.
