KEC’s Transmission & Distribution Order Inflow Crosses Rs. 19,500 crore
KEC International Ltd.’s Year-to-Date Transmission & Distribution (T&D) order inflow has surpassed Rs. 19,500 crore. These orders include KEC’s new T&D jobs in UAE, US, Mexico and Brazil, which are collectively worth of Rs. 1,097 crore.
In UAE, KEC International has won an order for laying of 400 KV transmission lines. In US, Mexico and Brazil, the company’s T&D business has won orders for supplying towers, hardware and poles. “The consistent flow of orders from the Middle East and the Americas has strengthened our international T&D order book significantly in addition to our strong India T&D order book”, said Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International.
Mr. Kejriwal also mentioned that 72% of the order intake is from the company’s T&D business.
During the company’s earnings call for its Q2 FY-25 financials, Mr. Kejriwal mentioned that the company expects double-digit margin growth in its T&D business by last quarter of FY-25.
