KEC International Bags New Orders Worth Rs. 1,845 Cr.
A global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major KEC International Ltd. (KEC) has bagged orders in Transmission & Distribution business from domestic and International clients as well as from the cables business. KEC is the flagship company of RPG Group*.
KEC books Major T&D Orders

As per the press release of the company dated on 10thJuly 2017, the company has bagged new orders worth Rs. 1,845 Cr.
The Transmission & Distribution Business of KEC has bagged new orders of Rs. 1,684 Cr. in India and the Americas. These orders include EPC orders for 765 kV and 400 kV transmission lines construction from TBCB developer in Western and Southern India, turnkey orders of 400 kV transmission line construction from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. in Southern India and orders for 400 kV and 220 kV Substation construction for Yettinahole integrated water project in South India.
Along with this the T&D business has secured various orders in Americas details of which hasn’t been shared by KEC.
The cables business has bagged new orders of Rs. 161 Cr. for various supply/ EPC orders.
In the above mentioned press-release of the company Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd. mentioned “The order book in our core T&D Business has strengthened significantly with the above order wins. We have successfully diversified our customer base to include private developers and other clients in addition to the current power utilities. Overall, we have a very strong order book and a healthy L1 position.”
