Ircon in JV wins Rs. 756 Cr. Civil Work Order for Indore-Budni Rail Project
Ircon International, in a Joint Venture (JV) with JPW Infratech, has secured a contract worth Rs. 755.78 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for construction works on the Indore–Budni railway project.
Scope of work in this project includes construction of roadbed and minor bridges, building structures, installation of railway tracks and other civil engineering and general electrical works. These works will be carried out on the new Broad Gauge (BG) line between Pipaliya Nankar (excluding) and Budni (including), covering Chainages (Ch.) 129.000 Km to 198.000 Km in the Indore–Budni section of Madhya Pradesh.
This project is expected to be completed within 42 months from the date of winning the order.
Once completed, the new BG line is expected to enhance regional transport efficiency and boost economic growth by improving both freight and passenger connectivity.
