IOCL to Buy 15 Hydrogen Fuel Based buses

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) in a statement said it would soon be inviting bids to procure 15 Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) fuel cell (Commonly called Hydrogen-based fuel) buses. The project will be first of its kind in India to promote hydrogen-based mobility.

IOCL will also be setting up a facility at its Faridabad Research and Development (R&D) Centre to produce hydrogen to run these buses.
