IOCL Completes Mathura Refinery’s Upgrade to BS-VI

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) has completed revamp projects of all the units of its Mathura Refinery to produce BS-VI grade fuel. The upgrade will lower Sulphur level in fuel by nearly 80%.

This has made IOCL Mathura the first refinery in India to produce BS-VI compliant fuel just before the roll out deadline of BS-VI norms in April 2020.
