HZL’s Sunil Duggal to Replace Srinivasan as CEO of Vedanta Limited

The top management of Vedanta Ltd. saw a huge change when Mr. Srinivasan Venkatakrishnan announced his resignation from the CEO and Director position in the company. He will be replaced by Mr. Sunil Duggal (currently CEO of Hindustan Zinc Ltd.) as new interim CEO with effect from 05th April 2020.

In an additional announcement company’s board appointed Mr. Anil Agarwal, chairman Vedanta Resources as Non-Executive Chairman of Vedanta Limited. Mr. Navin Agarwal will be Executive Vice Chairman of the Board.

It also stated that a management committee comprising of CEO, CFO, CHRO and CCO will take all key decisions under guidance of Chairman.
