Genus Power Wins Rs. 2,259 Cr. Order for Advanced Metering System

Genus Power Infrastructures Limited through its wholly-owned subsidiary has secured an order worth Rs. 2,259.94 crore for the development of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. This information was given by Genus Power in its press release dated 8th November 2023.

This AMI system order includes supplying, installing, and commissioning of 27.33 lakhs smart prepaid meters and DT meters on Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOOT) basis. The company will also provide Field Management Services (FMS) for the aforementioned smart meters.

Genus Power mentioned that various State Electricity Boards (SEBs) have initiated the bidding process for installing smart meters under Reforms-Based, Result-Linked Power Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
