Mr. Koppu Sadashiv Appointed as BHEL’s New CMD
Mr. Koppu Sadashiv Murthy has been appointed as the new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). This information was shared by the company in its press release dated 1st November 2023.
Mr. Koppu Sadashiv completed his graduation in Electrical Engineering from Bhopal University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). He joined BHEL in 1989 at its transformer & locomotive manufacturing hub in Jhansi. Mr. Murthy has been working with Bharat Heavy Electricals for more than 33 years and has worked across its different units in Hyderabad, Bhopal, and Varanasi.
Before being appointed as the CMD of BHEL, Mr. Murthy was the executive director of Corporate Operations Management group at BHEL.
