Gensol Engineering Wins two EPC Orders worth Rs. 2031 Cr. for Solar Projects at Khavda
Gensol Engineering Ltd. has won Rs. 967.98 crore EPC contract for setting up a 245 MW solar power project at Khavda Renewable Energy (RE) park in Gujarat. As per Gensol’s stock filing dated 7th February 2025, the company has secured this contract from a ‘renowned public sector undertaking’.
Post commissioning of this solar power project, Gensol Engineering will also be responsible for providing associated Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services for a period of three years. However, the company has not specified any completion period for this 245 MW solar power project.
The aforementioned order is Gensol Engineering’s second major order win in February 2025 at the Khavda RE park. Earlier this month, the company had won an order worth Rs. 1,062.97 crore for developing a 275 MW solar power project at the Khavda RE park. Commenting on these back-to-back solar project wins at Khavda, Ms. Shilpa Urhekar, Chief Executive Officer, Solar EPC (India) of Gensol Engineering Ltd. said “Securing two major projects at Khavda within a short timeframe reflects the trust and confidence placed in Gensol’s engineering expertise, and firm commitment to customer satisfaction”.
Apart from the aforementioned orders, Gensol Engineering had won solar projects collectively worth Rs. 897 crore in the Khavda RE park in December 2024.
