DCM Shriram to Infuse ₹ 350 Cr on Expansion of Sugar Mills
DCM Shriram has planned to make an investment of approximately ₹ 358 Crore towards expanding the capacity of its sugar mills at various locations.
As per the plan, DCM Shriram shall invest ₹ 258 crore at Ajbapur plant to increase sugarcane crushing capacity by a net 3,000 TCD (tonnes crushed per day) to 13,500 TCD along with conversion to refined sugar. An investment of ₹ 50 Crore shall be made at DCM Shriram’s plant at Hariawan for conversion of the existing 8,000 TCD to 13,000 TCD sugar facility and refined sugar. Another investment of ₹ 50 Crore is planned to increase grain attachment in distillery at Ajbapur.
DCM Shriram Sugar factories are located in Ajbapur, Rupapur, Hariawan and Loni in Uttar Pradesh, with a combined installed capacity of 38,000 TCD. The three expansion projects will be commissioned by October 2022.
