BTL EPC Ltd., a part of the Kolkata-based Shrachi Group, has secured an order worth Rs. 446 crore from Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) for setting up ash handling system for a thermal power plant in Telangana.
This order is for Telangana State Power Generation Corporation’s (TSPGENCO) super-critical thermal power plant with 5 units each of 800 MW capacity in Yadadri, Telangana. Scope of work in this order includes setting up bottom ash handling system and economiser ash handling system for the plant. Further, development of dry fly-ash evacuation system through vacuum, coarse ash removal system, and pressure conveying system with High Concentration Slurry Disposal (HCSD) system also fall under the scope of BTL EPC’s order.
