Bonton Cables India Pvt. Ltd., a Gurugram-based manufacturer of wires and cables, has announced the appointment of Mr. Vivek Yadav as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The company shared this information through a recent post on LinkedIn.
Vivek Yadav’s Strong Academic Foundation in Engineering and Management
Mr. Yadav’s academic journey reflects a strong foundation in both engineering and management. He completed Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Power from Ramaiah Institute of Technology in 1989. Subsequently, he pursued M.Tech in Management and Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, in 1996.
A Diverse Work Portfolio of Mr. Vivek Yadav with Major Companies

With over 37 years of industry experience, Mr. Vivek Yadav has worked with several organizations, including Schneider Electric and Havells India. He began his professional career as a Marketing Engineer at Crompton Greaves in 1989. In 1992, he joined ABB as Group Head, where he spent more than six years. Following this, he worked for Honda Seil Power Products Ltd. and Philips before joining Schneider Electric in 2004 as a Senior Manager.
During his tenure at Schneider Electric, Mr. Yadav held multiple senior positions, including Director of the Lifespace Business Unit and Vice President (Sales and Distribution). After spending 11 years with Schneider Electric, Mr. Yadav joined Havells India in 2016 as Vice President. Prior to his appointment as CEO of Bonton Cables, Mr. Vivek Yadav was serving as Executive Vice President and Switchgear Business Head at Havells India.
Bonton Cables: Manufacturing Footprint, Certifications, and Operational Scale
Bonton Cables India, a 15-year-old cable manufacturing company, operates two cable manufacturing plants in the country, both located in Rajasthan at Bhiwadi and Kahrani. In addition to its existing facilities, Bonton Cables is in the process of setting up a new manufacturing unit in Salarpur, Rajasthan, further strengthening its production footprint in the region.
The company holds several key certifications, including Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) 2, and International Standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems (IATF) 16949:2016. According to Bonton Cables, these certifications validate and certify that the company’s products comply with the highest international quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Highlighting its manufacturing capabilities, Bonton Cables stated has mentioned the company has a wire manufacturing capacity exceeding 15,000 Km per month. Additionally, the company possesses a cable manufacturing capacity of over 500 Km per month.
For the financial year FY25, the company reported a turnover of Rs. 700 crore, reflecting its strong market presence and operational performance.
